Posted on by admin

The process of scrapping your car is a simple one, but that doesn’t mean people don’t have questions about it. In fact, we are often asked questions about the process and being the happy folk we are at Recycling Monkey, we always like to explain it from start to finish.

Because we get calls asking questions, we thought that there is going to be people online searching for the same answers – which is why we’ve created this blog. Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions about scrapping your car:

  • Can My Car Be Collected From My Home Address?

The answer is YES. Our collectors up and down the country who are always on hand to come and collect your vehicle to save you the hassle of bringing your car to us. Most of the time we can even collect the same day too.

  • Does My Car Need To Be Clean?

You do not need to clean your car as we will take your car for scrap regardless of its condition. Although, we do ask that you take all of your personal belongings or any other items out of the car before we take it off your hands.

Quite simply, no! You do not need an MOT Certificate in order for us to collect the vehicle from you.
